My boyfriend didnt even talk to me on valentines day?

Ive been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years we have a long distance relationship. On valentines day I send him an ecard and wrote him a letter (the usual I love you things) later that day I received a comfirmation email that he had received it, and opened it. That whole day I never heard from him at all. But his messenger kept updating his status that he was playing a game on line. Now today 2/16/11 he logs on saying hi and tells me he was sick and thats all he said and he logged off. I dont know what to do or say should I comfront him about it? Or let it go cuz its a hallmark holiday? I dont know what to do
