How much is this car worth?

I need a new car. There is a Saturn 1998 SC1 for $500. It was in an accident so it needs a new hood, paint job, and the hook to close the hood needs to be fixed. The airbag was bought used but not connected, and the passenger side has no air bag. AC needs to be fixed. It needs a new transmission and the engine needs work too. There would also be some other minor work like an oil change. Some things it offers is 4 new tires, a high quality radio w/ cd player, new battery, and new muffler system w/ new catalytic converter. It has 145,500 miles as well. I would estimate about $1,500 in addition to the $500 cost to get the car in shape. I just want to make sure it would be worth it.
