Is it pretty standard practice to Block anyone that makes you feel nervous?

I mean... I keep getting blocked by Christians right after I answer their questions. Is it a "Kill the messenger" scenario? Do they block the truth so I don't have to see it? ...Tape the holes shut in the God belief with faithfulness... and fellowship.
